Wednesday 18 December 2024 Year 7 Alder Hey Toy Appeal During Year 7 Student Council meetings at the start of term, our new year 7 identified that they wished to collect toys for children who will sadly spend their Christmas at Alder Hey Hospital this year. For the past half term they have been busy promoting their toy appeal across the school community and have been amazed by the overwhelming support they have been given. Year 7 would like to thank all students and parents/ carers who kindly donated toys and gift sets particularly for babies and teenagers. They would also like to thanks the Waterloo Rugby Club U14 squad who donated a huge box filled with toys for us to take to the children.
