School Closure – Student Registration (for Key Workers and Vulnerable students)

Dear Parent/Carer

In-line with Government announcements, Chesterfield High School will ONLY remain open from Monday 23rd  March for vulnerable students in our school. This includes those students with an Education Health Care Plan, those with a dedicated Social worker, and those children with at least one parent or carer who are identified as critical workers by the government can send their children to school if required. We, as a school, recognise the role we play in ensuring that those parents who are employed within the NHS and other key public sectors are appreciated and supported at this difficult time.

To assist in the planning, could ALL parents please follow the link and complete the form.

The Government will determine who is a ‘Key Worker’ if your job is not on that list, we will be unable to allow your child to attend school. Please note this school opening relies on sufficient operational number of staff and so we cannot guarantee it for the duration of school closures, but will endeavour to do our best.

All students MUST arrive at school promptly at 8.30am in full school uniform with all of their normal school equipment including PE kit. School will finish as normal at 3pm.
