Pupils took to the stage last week for the much loved production of Bugsy Malone (performances on the evenings of 9 and 10 July 2019).
Involving pupils from years 7 to 13 this all action gangster classic saw Fat Sam (James Carr) clinging on to his crumbling empire after repeated splurge gun onslaught from rival mobster Dandy Dan (Daniel Owen).
There were fantastic solo numbers performed by Blousey Brown (Molly Musker), Fizzy (Shaughn Rice) and Tallulah (Jess Lippa).
Eventually after foamy battles and hard words they all found common ground ending with a combined chorus number We Give A Little Love.
The pupils were brilliant and they gave it their all. Their hard work since November paid off spectacularly and the audience were treated to a wonderful show on both evenings!
A thoroughly enjoyable performance with special thanks to the Director Mr Steve Hopwood and the rest of the Expressive Arts Department.
