Key stage 3 News

Key Stage 3 completed their half term assessments this week. I would like to compliment them all on their impeccable conduct during the tests in the sports hall. Invigilators were very pleased with how they performed and asked me to relay the message.

PIXL International

Next week we will be raising money whole school in support of PIXL International to help children access education in other less developed countries. I have set Key Stage 3 a challenge of raising £1000 during the week. As always the students have met the challenge head on and have already started promoting their ideas and events. Next week there will be:

A tuck shop in the mall at lunchtimes

Cakes sales

Penalty Shoot Out competitions

The Hobbit films will be shown after school

Easter egg raffles

A concert for Years 7 and 8

This is a fantastic opportunity to help children less fortunate than ourselves:

£100 raised will help 350 students in one school

£300 raised will help 1050 students in 3 schools

£600 raised will help 2100 students in 6 schools

The Key Stage 3 target will therefore be helping 3500 young people if reached….. So come on Years 7 and 8… Please dig deep and support this amazing organisation to help other children across the world
