Christmas Jumper Day

Last Friday, December 14th Chesterfield High school students raised over £1500 for Save the Children.  The students wore their Christmas jumpers and Christmas hats to show how they wanted to ensure that all children have the chance of making a future.  Cake sales, raffles, guess the teacher, 5-a-side football competition and beat the goalie activities helped make the day full of activities for children to fundraise.  Well done to all the student leaders who helped organise the events and collect the money.  Big thank you to Mr Williams and Mr Graham who did all the organising behind the scenes to make it such a special day for all of us.

At the same time students across all year groups have been bringing in food and other items for a local food bank in the Seaforth area. The students have been busy collecting hundreds of items for us to deliver this week to help others in our community.  The 6th form have made hampers that they will be delivering to local elderly residents in the Crosby and Waterloo area.  Thank you to all those parents/carers who helped make this happen we appreciate your kindness and generosity.  Happy Christmas to you all!!
