KEY STAGE 4 NEWS – 4/7/18

Last Thursday Year 11 celebrated the end of their GCSE Examinations at Formby Hall. The evening was a huge success and it was lovely to meet parents and family members beforehand, as the students arrived in their formal attire, looking extremely grown up. They danced their way non-stop through the evening with the odd break on the balcony for some welcome fresh air. It came as no surprise to hear compliments from our own staff, the coach drivers and the team at Formby Hall including the DJ on how enjoyable the evening was, but more so just how polite the students all were.

Students are reminded that they are to come and collect their examination results from School on Thursday 23rd August 2018.

With the exception of LIBF  the Internal and External examinations for this academic year have been completed. The focus for both Years 9 and 10 is to ensure coursework is up to date in particular in Art, Business Studies, Dance, Food and Nutrition and PE.

The school nurse, Jane Weeks, does a drop in every Tuesday lunchtime and if students would like to see her they should call to reception. She is based in the Meeting Room and pupils will be escorted to see her there.
